About the Hamsa Hand
The Hamsa Hand (a.k.a. Hand of Fatima) is a popular good luck symbol worldwide.
The hand with the five fingers symbolize the five books of the Torah: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy (a.k.a. The Five Books of Moses). It may sometimes also be called “The Hand of Miriam”.
Miriam was the sister of Moses and Aron. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. Aron became the first High Priest. Miriam played an important role in the story of Moses and was highly respected.
Legend has it that it was due to Miriam’s virtues that the Israelites always found water during the forty years they wondered through the desert on their way towards the Promised land.
The well that seemed to follow the people of Israel is according to legend called Miriam’s well. So Miriam came to represent protection, luck and happiness.
Hamsa is actually the Hebrew word for five.
Green aventurine is know as the “Stone of Opportunity” and is thought to be the luckiest of all crystals. It offers a fabulous winning energy.
About Lava Stone
Lava stone is highly porous and reusable natural material making it a superior choice for oil diffusion. Simply add a few drops of your favorite oil to the lava stones – allow a couple moments for the oil to absorb and your ready to go!
Washing the lava stones is a matter of personal choice! It’s OK to love the aroma of the blend of oils as they accumulate into the lava stones! But lava stones are also very easy to wash if you feel the need to bathe them – just place the stones in hot water with a few drops of vinegar (optional). Allow to air dry, and they are ready to reuse!

NOT all Essential Oils are created equal so please be very careful. I highly recommend using the best quality oils ALWAYS!!! It’s super easy to purchase an oil in a department store and think you are purchasing a high quality oil – after all, the label says so right? – but don’t be fooled!
In the U.S. there is no rating system or label laws for essential oils. The only requirement the FDA has in order to label a bottle of essential oil as “pure’ or “therapeutic grade” is that the contents contain at least 5% – 10% essential oil. So what does that mean? It means the other 90% – 95% can be anything else. ANYTHING!!! That’s doesn’t sound “pure” at all now does it?
The oils I recommend using are from the Young Living Oils product line. Young Living essential oils are Grade A – genuine therapeutic-grade, made from organically grown plants and distilled at proper temperatures. Young Living controls the entire process – from growing the seed to putting the seal on the bottle of oil. So what does that mean? It means that each bottle of Young Living essential oil is 100% essential oil – nothing else! Now that sounds “pure” to me!
Now I know what you might be thinking . . . the Young Living essential oils are so expensive! I can’t afford to spend that on essential oils! . . . Well to be honest I thought the same thing before I tried them . . . but now I know they are worth every penny . . . because I am worth every penny! . . . AND SO ARE YOU!!!!
